J. Smith, a veteran of 40+ years in the Sewing and
Knitting trade. Started as a simple store-front operation over 3 decades ago, the Company has grown until now it has coast-to-coast sales in Canada and the U.S., and also serves many other parts of the world. To this end Peter Smith has built the largest stock of new and used Studio & Passap Machines in Canada. He also has one of the largest stock of parts for Superba (White Knitting Machines), Japanese Knitting Books, coned yarns, etc. to be found anywhere.Shipment of all standard items is usually right off the shelf. Regular orders from his suppliers in Switzerland, Japan, and China arrive weekly. All items are guaranteed. New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, while Peter's own limited guarantees cover used equipment, and also repair items. Peter also places prime importance on after-sale Service. A fully-equipped Service Department, with parts for practically all machines in stock, ensures fast turn-around for repair, or parts orders. Capping all this, a toll-free number gives access for customer enquiries. Customer support is also of prime importance in the scheme of things. Any enquiry is assured the full attention of a courteous service representative. While doing business on the internet may be a new departure for the Company, it is fully intended that any new Internet customers will enjoy all the good stuff that regular walk-in and telephone customers have enjoyed for years.
